A huge THANK YOU to children from St Mary's C of E School, Twickenham who raised funds to give a 'bag of love' to every child at the Joy Nursery and Primary School in Uganda. The children were inspired to help following a talk from Project Le Monde CEO, Anne Lotter.
The knitted squares are sent to Uganda to be made into blankets. A wonderful co-operative experience, giving women in Leicester a chance to meet and chat, and children in Uganda a warm blanket.
The toilet block goes up at our school in Namakoko to improve facilities for all the pupils and staff. Headmaster Moses Wabwire says the population of children attending school has grown so big as a result of all the help they have received.
An amazing gift! All these boxes contain uniform for pupils at Namakoko School, generously donated by Radnor House School in Sevenoaks, Kent.
Kennedy, Claire and Cathy (middle), are delighted to be going to school, thanks to funding raised through sponsorship.
Sponsor children, Deborah (left) and Rebecca delighted to be able to go to school once more.
