Back on the Road: A New Bike for Abdul

We’re delighted to share some good news from Africa - Abdul is back on two wheels with a new bike and some much-needed cycling equipment.

Abdul is a very talented cyclist who became a great friend of the Project Le Monde team during our East Africa cycling adventure. Unfortunately, before the trip, his own bike was stolen, leaving him without the equipment he needed to continue riding.

After hearing what had happened, the Project Le Monde community came together to help. A replacement bike was shipped across for Abdul, along with a number of useful extras to help get him properly set up and back on the road.

For someone with such a passion for cycling, being without a bike is a major setback, so it was brilliant to see Abdul receive the new equipment and, most importantly, get riding again.

We wish him many happy miles on the new bike and look forward to following where it takes him next.
